- January: turkey, apples, grapefruit, oranges, and pears. Mini sweet red, yellow and orange peppers from Mexico available in Thunder Bay grocery stores from now until summer. Smoked ham usually available fairly reasonable prices early January.
- February: candy and chocolates (after Valentine's Day)
- March: frozen food
- April: broccoli, cauliflower, and eggs
- May: soda, hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, asparagus and pineapples Farmers markets begin in May through to September Wedneday and Saturday mornings at different locations around Thunder Bay. Fresh flowers and vegetables as they are in season are available for reasonable prices.
- June: dairy products and tomatoes
- July: berries, corn, cherries, squash, watermelons, canteloupes, tomatoes, plums, peaches, and nectarines
- August: squash, green peppers, lettuce, berries, apples, peaches, apricots, and fresh fish. In Thunder Bay grocery stores blueberries available into September, also fresh salmon. Farmers have strawberries available for picking, or purchase by the basket.
- September: apples, broccoli, cauliflower, and canned goods. In Thunder Bay, field tomatoes available by the basket reasonably priced. Peaches, pears also available by the basket. Farmers have fresh corn available for purchase.
- October: pumpkins, cranberries, grapes, oranges, sweet potatoes, and yams. Turkeys for Thanksgiving usually 99 cents / pound for 7-9 kgs size a week before Thanksgiving in Thunder Bay.
- November: turkey, sweet potatoes, yams, and post- Halloween candy. Christmas oranges usually available end of October, beginning of November in grocery stores in Thunder Bay.
- December: oranges, apples and grapefruit. Turkeys usually 99 cents / pound for 7 -9 kgs size a week before Christmas in Thunder Bay grocery stores. After Christmas in Thunder Bay, specials on many appetizer types of items, specials on Lobster, shrimp and Prime rib or Baron of Beef roasts in preparation for New Year's celebrations.
