Options Once Wages Garnished?

I received a Statement of Claim and I ignored it, I didn't realize that my wages could be garnished if I didn't respond to the action. 

What are my options?

You may have the option of filing a Notice of Motion to remove the garnishment.

To file your defense to a Statement of Claim or to file the Notice of Motion you must go to the Small Claims Court to file the paperwork. You will be charged a nominal fee to pursue either of these actions.
