The additional warranties sold by many retailer's are usually
not needed for most items. Many warranties run concurrent with the
manufacturer's warranty and are usually of little use when you try

When shopping sales:

keep family member's clothing sizes,
measurements from home for carpets, window coverings, etc. in your
wallet, you'll have the information at your fingertips when you
are shopping.

items.
When buying clothing or household
linens consider buying "seconds" at lower prices
When purchasing household appliances
consider purchasing the basic model as it can usually be purchased
